McGowan Industries Inc. is an entrepreneurial company dedicated to providing our Distributors and consumers with the highest quality products. We use vision and cutting-edge technology to bring new and innovative products to market and transitioning them into nationally recognized brands.

Tom McGowan is a Navy/USN veteran who in 1997 founded McGowan Enterprises, Inc. and featured Acute Care Pharmaceuticals as its primary DBA which sold hard-to-find pharmaceuticals and custom crash cart kits. He would go on to create a new division that would sell USP<797> compounding products to hospital pharmacies and infusion therapy companies under the branded name Pharma-Choice which became the gold standard in the industry for USP<797> needs.

In 2019, Tom McGowan founded McGowan Industries, Inc. (after selling McGowan Enterprises, Inc.) and created a new product called Total-Shield Plus, which targets markets that need disinfectants. Total-Shield Plus became a leader in the retail market as it is an EPA registered, N-List product, tested and proven to kill COVID-19 on non-porous surfaces. 

Having extensive experience and knowledge in the hospital and medical markets and realizing a need for a broad-spectrum Sanitizer, sporicidal, disinfectant and fungicidal agent Total-Shield Plus HG was developed for use in hospital pharmacies, home infusion therapy, medical device and pharmaceutical manufacturing.
